TTC our first, i think i might have a little problem, what do you think?

So here is our situation. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18, I've had sonograms to monitor my cysts about every 3 months for the past 5 years. In September of '08, we started trying (I also started taking PreNate DHA when we began trying), with no luck I went back to the doctors and I ended up having a HSG which showed a good uterus but both tubes were blocked. My partner has a great sperm count. Since the HSG, I am now getting my menses every 28 days and my past 2 sono's have showed no cysts. The doctor is contemplating surgery right now to unblock my tubes. I have heard a lot of stories of women who had a HSG done and it somehow unblocked their tubes and within months of the HSG became pregnant naturally, with no surgery or medication. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?? any advice right now would be great! Even though we are both getting frustrated, we are trying to hold our heads high and think positive.
