Did I scratch my cornea? (black speck on cornea...)?

Most likely you've gotten a piece of metal stuck in your cornea. As long as it's stuck there, it is going to irritate your eye. The longer it sits there, the more rust will form and could be harder for your eye doctor to remove. The sooner you get seen the better.
