If the Bible has scientific foreknowledge, then why aren't Christians using it to come up with new scientific?
Christians have only recently (within the past 150 years) started imposing science on the Bible. For most of Christianity, the Bible was read as a spiritual guide and many of the stories that are taken literally today were taken metaphorically. How could the writers of the Bible teach science when modern science wasn't even invented until the 17th century? I'm a Christian, but I don't get my science from the Bible. Science and religion deal with two separate realms of human experience. Science deals with the material world and religion goes beyond the material.
