Should I look for another job?

I applied and was hired as a receptionist. In all my years of this kind of work, this was way different. Running to answer the phone while faxing a gazillion order confirmations to customers (only after delivering the original orders to the customer service department, then running back to get them to reprint and fax the confirmations). Then our system was programmed to auto send confirmations. Now I have to file the gazillion orders after running around to get them. The phone system has went automated and now they are looking to only scan the orders to electronically file them. Okay, now doesn't this sound as if my position is going away? They would have nowhere else to put me so should I just look for something else? I don't think standing and scanning all of the orders will be my cup of tea.
