What is the best way to tenderize a rump steak?

Soak for 8-12 hours in a cola drink (Coke or Pepsi or generic) the acids will soften the meat. For added flavor add a strong red wine (not sure on availability for alcohol in Dubai though). I have used this method often for a cheap cut of beef.
