Its really difficult when you are the only one who works for the relationship. Objectively look at what you wrote. It sounds like you are jumping for the crumbs he tosses you and rying to make them a full meal. The man either feels less for you than you do for him, or he is really emotionally unavailable. Though it is hard to do, I suggest you break from him for a few months. Sometimes its a big enough jolt that a man becomes emotionally available however it is a gamble. But the thing is, if you don't really have him, you don't have him. You have someone to go out with and have with. Unless you are willing to live like that for X amount of time, stop selling yourself short.
